How to connect Face Book with your Blog Using RSS FEEDS

RSS FEEDS from your blog to Face Book will increase traffic!

No doubt I have your full attention!  This feature is not brand new, but not many people are yet aware of the benefits of sharing good ideas from your blog on a social network such as Face Book.

Blogging is aimed at sharing good content and ideas with others. The main problem that many people have with this subject of sharing on social networks, is that they don’t like spamming their friends. In other words bombarding them with advertisements!

That’s a good thing! I don’t like to do that either! But what if you had a genuine good idea that you wanted to share with all your friends and family members. It may even be your most recent achievement that you are proud of  or perhaps a funny video or photo. Thats not spam! Plus If you take just a little time out to post a new article on your blog then you can have it automatically feed straight to your Face Book account.

This website below offers a full video tutorial on how to create a RSS FEED to Face Book! I also found some other really great articles on blogging tips, which I will write about at a later date.

Joomla video tutorials for building a website

Learn how to build a Joomla website?

Why use Joomla? If you are new to building websites, or you are wanting a CMS (content management system) then Joomla seems to be one of the leading favorites amongst our web developers.

If you are into video production and you would like  a website to display all your video footage! Then the Joomla option would be a good way to go.  Joomla uses an open source coding language called PHP,  which allows you to connect to a database in Mysql.

If that all went over your head don’t worry! In simple terms you can have a website to show all your videos under catergories on the web, plus you can also manage and update the website yourself with out having to pay large sums of monies to web developers.

You can get many books on Joomla and also open source information on how to use it! www.joomla.org is a good place to start when wanting to find information. There is a forum as well, where many developers get together to discuss the many issues and problems that they are having.

In the mean time however, I have found a website that offers a free trial to video tutorials on how to use Joomla. I am not affiliated at all with this website at all, so please don’t think that I am recommending it! What I am recommending is  the free ones available to learn more about Joomla

Lesson 1   Introduction  to Joomla

Lesson 2   Why Choose Joomla?

Lesson 3   How to download FTP & ZIP software

Lesson 4A   Joomla files

Lesson 4B    Database installation – control panel

Lesson 4C    Database Installation – Php My Admin

Lesson 4D    Database Installaion – command line

Lesson 4E    Joomla Installer

Michael Jackson Dangerous dance music video by Michael Shannon

Good Marketing Is About Copying WHAT WORKS!

Notice the heading to this blog, It says Michael Jackson Dangerous. If you where to have an opinion on this video that I have posted you would automatically think that its a dance by MJ himself. However its actually a group of young students showing off their video editing and camera work. They created this short film and have posted it on the internet. The design is really well planned out, and even though you can see several mistakes in their work, overall they have done really well. This video is good to have a look at, if you are interested in making your own short film, it goes through several camera angles and special effects.
